MUNICIPAL CHIEF
Lessebo municipality is located in the middle of the Kingdom of Glass and has approximately 8,500 inhabitants and more than one million visitors annually. Our operations are based in the four towns of Lessebo, Hovmantorp, Kosta and Skruv. Strategic location in the middle of the Kingdom of Glass, about 30 minutes from Växjö and 60 minutes from Kalmar. In total, around 900 people are employed in the municipality.
Your assignment
As municipal manager in Lessebo, you are expected to lead, develop and create an efficient, prosperous organization that delivers according to set goals. Your task will be to lead skilled leaders and create a strong management team with a high degree of trust in the group. You have budget and profit responsibility for SEK 550 million and lead the business on behalf of the political leadership.
Furthermore, together with your employees, you are expected to strengthen the municipality's brand and increase its attractiveness and contribute to an even richer business life. By strategically focusing on these areas, you as municipal manager can create a favorable environment for business and at the same time promote sustainable and positive development for the entire municipality.

Your area of responsibility also includes planning and managing the administration's budget and ensuring that sufficient resources are available to carry out the business in an even more cost-effective manner with a balanced budget.

We are looking for you who is a skilled and development-oriented leader with good ability to develop the business and create a strong management team. Your leadership style creates trust and you make others want to follow you. Your ability to lead through structure and vision creates a clear direction. You have advantageously acquired your experiences in both the public sector and the private business world. You know the importance of navigating between different stakeholders and act both high and low depending on what the situation requires.
